Tessa Works

A front desk for home services

Never misses a call.
Never makes anything up.

Tessa answers your phone, books the job onto the right person’s calendar, and tells you straight when she can’t. No voicemail, no scripts, no lost work.

What happens when someone calls

Four things, before you’ve put your tools down

1

She picks up — at 2pm or 2am

Every call, first ring, including the ones that come in while you’re up a ladder or under a sink.

2

She works out where the job is

Postcode, then the street address. She knows which of your people covers that area, because you told her once.

3

She books it on the right calendar

A real opening belonging to the person who can actually do the work — not a request for someone to call back and arrange one.

4

You get the details

Who called, what they want, where it is and when. In your calendar, and in your CRM if you use one.

The part other AI won’t tell you

She knows what she doesn’t know

Anything can answer a phone quickly. The hard part is being right — and being straight when there isn’t a good answer. She won’t quote a price she wasn’t given, promise a day she can’t keep, or offer an opening that isn’t there.

A date with nothing open
“I don't have anything on December 14. The nearest openings I have are Tuesday, December 15 — 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM with Mary.”

She refuses, gives the real alternative, and invents no reason for it.

A misheard street
“One correction — that street comes up as Gem St, Westbrook, CA 12345. Let me know if that’s the right one.”

She heard "Jem", checked it against the map, and corrected herself before a crew could be sent to a street that does not exist.

Asked for a price
“I'm not able to quote pricing, but I can have someone from the team get you a real number.”

The limit her owner set, held without waffle — including when a caller claims to know the owner.

Something she got wrong
“Actually — I'm sorry, I don't have that one locked in yet. Let me confirm that one properly before we finish.”

She catches her own mistake in the same breath, rather than letting someone hang up believing a booking exists.

Those are things she said on real calls. Every limit she holds exists because a call went wrong once and we fixed it.

Who it’s for

Businesses where the phone is the front door

If a missed call is a missed job, this is built for you. Single van or thirty, one location or a dozen.

  • Painting
  • Pressure washing
  • Gutter cleaning
  • Window cleaning
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Pet grooming
  • Cleaning services
  • Landscaping
  • Franchise resales

What you see afterwards

  • Every call transcribed and summarised
  • Messages in one list, so nothing sits unread
  • Appointments on the right person’s calendar
  • Leads and call notes pushed into your CRM
  • A text to you the moment a job is booked

Costs less than the jobs you’re missing

One job a month usually covers it. The arithmetic is on the pricing page, and it compares against the thing it replaces rather than against other software.
